To honour our values, every NOKA sculptural candle is shaped through a thoughtful and intentional creative process, where craftsmanship meets artistic exploration.
Each collection begins with inspiration drawn from subtle elements — shared memories, past emotions, and intangible archetypes that often resist verbal expression. These impressions are translated into abstract forms, allowing feeling and form to converge.
Our designs are first sculpted digitally using Blender software, before being carefully brought into physical form.
Each NOKA sculptural candle possesses its own character and structural nuances, requiring a flexible and adaptive approach to moulding. The moulding techniques we use have been carefully developed and handcrafted in our workshop, allowing each form to be respected in its individuality.
Colour is approached with the same precision. We work with primary pigment powders, blending them in carefully calibrated proportions to achieve the signature tones of our collections.
To preserve the integrity of each piece and avoid imperfections, our moulds are gently vibrated, allowing air bubbles to surface and dissipate naturally. The time each design spends in its mould varies according to its structure, ensuring optimal balance, texture, and definition.
Our objects are the result of ongoing experimentation and refined know-how. Each piece is unique, shaped by hand, and produced in limited quantities — no two are ever exactly alike.

We operate with a deliberately limited stock to preserve the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Guided by ethical practice and environmental awareness, our handmade sculptural candles exist outside the logic of mass production, embracing a slower and more considered approach to design.
We collaborate closely with local independent artisans and carefully selected, sustainable suppliers. Our candles are crafted with lead-free eco wicks and a refined blend of vegetable waxes, including palm wax and paraffin. Our palm wax supplier is certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
Conscious of material impact at every stage, we minimise the use of plastic wherever possible, opting for fabric and recycled paper packaging as our primary materials.
